Learning more about intuition, figuring out how to 'harness' and 'direct' my energy, and surrounding myself with health and happiness comes just a smidge easier each day. Practice, practice, practice!
Have I mentioned that I am outstandingly grateful for the sister that I have been blessed to have? She recently shared a lesson by Rick Warren, a pastor and the well-known author of The Purpose Driven Life. [I read book several years ago - I recommend it to you! >>How God Heals Your Hidden Wounds, part II << (listen!)
Big lessons:
- The deepest wounds we have are most often hidden.
- A bitter spirit poisons and perpetuates.
- Focus on what you WANT!
- Release those who have hurt you
- Replace "old tapes" with TRUTH
- Believe the truth about YOU.
- Refocus on the future.
On what are you basing your life? What do you believe about yourself? about your life?
The way you see yourself tends to be based on what you think the most important person in your life thinks about you!
You may be thinking, 'Of course you are, Nicole. You are a wellness coach.' Friend, let me tell you, sometimes I need as much encouragement and support as I am expected to provide to others!
Negative thoughts are actually natural, as well as socially 'expected' - how tragic! It takes work and perseverance to think positive thoughts sometimes . . . and sometimes we need help from others.
Every day, I practice practicing mindful awareness of my support system and the things around me that happen in my favor. The work I am doing now to heal 'hidden wounds' is preparing me for a very blessed future.
Be firm and courageous, my friends! "Put your heart right."
