OwIE! 4 Mile Run

After an . . . interesting?! . . . weekend at Moondance Jammin' Country Fest (yes! dancing counts as exercise!)  I needed to get back on track with training. 

Thankfully, S.S. was kind enough peer-pressured into running 4 miles with me.  Whew.  That took some stamina, especially considering we had a couple of big hills (and I mean that sincerely).  We did a run/walk and finished in approximately 57 minutes; as well, my wonderful doggy ran along with us but her poor little paws keep rubbing raw on the pavement/asphalt.  (She did do some running on gravel and grass, too, because last time we did a longer run the same thing happened.)

My hips hurt today.  So does my back a little bit.  Am glad I did a bunch of dancing while on vacation; however, the stuff I consumed coupled with sleeping on hard, hard bunks has made my hips ache reeeeeeeeeeeeal bad.  Yeouch!

Anywho.  Need to do some yoga - that should help.

Probably ought to blog a little more often, too, eh?  Maybe I should schedule it into my planner so that I keep updating.  Hmm.  Okay.
