9pm bedtime means 4am wakey-wakey...whaaaaat?!?!

A "full" day yesterday constituted waking up at 7:45am to be at work by 9:30 until 1pm, followed by orientation in my college and departments from 1:30-5pm.  Dinner, some comedy courtesy of Netflix, and some hang-out time with my buddy SS and her weenie-dogs (Bekah came along to play with her little buddies!), I called it a day at 9pm!  I was soooo exhausted!  Didn't get my daily nap :-|

Little did I know that going to bed at 9pm meant that I would wake up at 4am...gah!  Laid in bed until 4:30 and decided I was awake enough to get something done.  Made coffee and farted around for an hour; the dog and I set out at 5:30am for a meandering walk that turned into a 90min walk/jog.  Mostly walking, a few spurts of 2-5min jogs.  Kinda fun.  What was funny to me is that when I got to a point that I was sick of walking and could either backtrack or continue on the way I had intended to go, it would end up being about the same distance either way :) Haha.  I just logged it in on LogYourRun.com and it ended up being just over 5 miles!  Speaking of that website, I just entered my data (pretty cool site for those who are somewhat techy and want a way keep track of exercise, mileage, etc. It even keeps track of which shoes you use for which workouts, which bike you use . . . different types of workouts . . . cool site and fairly uncomplicated, so as not to confused those of us who are ONLY slightly techy!).  ANYwho - not only can I link my completed info to my facebook page or tweeter twitter whatever but the website also offers "blog info" - when I clicked that, this is what appeared:

Pretty neat!!!!  I encourage you to check out the website if you are looking for a new or additional way to keep track of exercise, shoe or bike mileage, hold yourself accountable - - - Whatever!  Just DO IT!

Have a great, active day :)
