Nom, Nom, Nom!

I know I meant for this blog to be about exercising and training for triathlons, but triathlons are not in my immediate future and I MUST share the smoothie recipe that I just created . . . Not really a recipe, more of a haphazard assortment of things brought together into a delicious blend of nutrients. YUM. 1 banana (usually, I use a frozen one so it helps keep smoothie cold) Strawberries Blueberries (berries also preferrably frozen, helps keep things cold without adding ice) Fat-free soy milk (this was on sale, usually I just by soy milk or almond milk) A few dollups of plain greek yogurt some Maca powder some Soy-Spirulina Protein Powder (chocolate flavor!) a few clippings of wheat grass Yep, I think thats it. YUM. :-) Exercise - went dancing with friends last night. 80's night music-SO MUCH FUN!!!!!!! Still walking the dog and stretching, but I admit (Sadly) that I have been using homework and sleep as excuses not to move. It is catching up with me - my "piriformis" is protesting so much sitting. More on that later. I need to get outside and soak up some sunshine! :)
