My mom and stepdad visited me in Florida this weekend! What a fun time! I picked them up in Orlando on Friday and brought them to my humble pad where we launched into our daily adventures and came back to attempt restorative sleep!
Okay - I'm going to just do a quick review of my daily activities and "feelings" quickly and then head outside. I want to post more later about some interesting occurrances from the last few days.
Friday: Roomie KA and I took my beloved doggy for a walk on Friday afternoon; starting off anticipating a "down-to-the-stoplight-and-back" trip of about 1.5 miles, we turned and took a new route - which, in turn, brought us to discover a gorgeous new path through the wooded area nearby!!! SO FUN! Ended up being a nice 45 minute walk with new environmental stimulation :-) Yay!
Saturday, I brought the parents to UF! Wowza! They now know how HUGE it is! We walked a couple of miles and took some fun pictures of the gator in front of the football stadium. Yahoo!
Sunday was the big trip to St. Augustine! What a day. Met a good friend for lunch and then spent several hours walking and learning at Castillo de San Marcos and touring the beautiful St. George Street in all it's magnificence! I did buy myself an "engagement ring" at the women's exchange (reason coming in a later post...*shudder*....creeper/stalker story).
Yesterday was a day off partially because I haven't slept well in a few days and partially because I had a group project meeting, a meeting with DELICIOUS FOOD at Genghi's Grill with the parentals before they left :) YUM, a quick nap, and a long drive to-and-fro the Orlando airport. It was bittersweet to see them leave - I'm such a sappy sapwad. ENFJ. Check it out.
I want to go sit outside in the sunshine for a while before classes today so that is it for now. I plan to meet with my weights-date again after classes and then come home to take the dog for a walk or jog, depending on how the feet feel!

Okay :-)
Biked my behind to class (missed the first class because I was sitting out at the pool and lost track of time! reading my AWESOME NEW BOOK from the used book store: Manifesto for a New Medicine).
After class, went to my "weights-date" with Amelia again and lifted 'upper body' and stretched with foam roller (YEOUCH but good).
Biked home and went for a 45 min walk with the dog and roommates! Good movement day, overall. Nothing real strenuous but 90+ minutes of planned movement. Yippee!
