WHEW - The rest of 2013 whizzed by before I realized I hadn't written
Ha ha ha . . . adoring. . .fans . . .okay, moving on.
Sincerely, I am amazed at how easily time slips by and suddenly someone else posts a blog or writes and article and I think, "Uhhh, when was the last time you shared your wisdom and wit with the world?" So, here's to dusting off the keyboard (which, incidentally, is used quite often, usually for emails and Facebook posts and drafting schedules/training plans or marketing pieces) and writing something worth reading.
Wait. Worth reading? Well, that might be a stretch. How about - here's to making an effort to be more consistent in writing in this blog.
Okay, wellness coach, make a S.M.A.R.T. goal:
I will write and publish one blog post per month in the year 2014. (Meaningful blog post? Eh. Maybe.) My confidence level is a 7 our of 10 (Wellcoaches, you know what I'm talking about!)
How did you reach that goal? Why is this important to you? What strengths do you have that propel you toward achieving this goal?
- I enjoy writing and need/want to polish my skills.
- I really enjoy educating and passing along information and resources.
- Writing can be a great stress reliever.
- Writing/blogging offers me a space of self-accountability: I can practice my writing, hopefully pass at least one nugget of information or sweet piece of motivation on to you, my gloriously faithful reader, and perhaps I will invest more time into photography and photo editing, which happens to be a hobby that I do not spend as much time as I'd like pursuing.
- I can use blogging as another means to communicate with clients, patients, friends, and family.
- I just wanna do it.
Okay. Are you happy, now?
Yep.
Am I talking to myself as my own coach?
Yes, yes, you/I are/am . . .
Alrighty, then.
